Burncoin ($BURN): Solana’s Deflationary Firebrand

Burncoin ($BURN) is a community-driven, deflationary token built on the Solana blockchain that aims to bring scarcity and a novel economic model to the crypto space. Inspired by Bitcoin’s capped supply but with a twist, Burncoin’s core design permanently removes tokens from circulation with every transaction a mechanism coded directly into the token’s protocol.

At its heart is a 4.20% burn tax applied to every wallet transfer and decentralized exchange (DEX) swap. This means that with each transaction, 4.20% of the amount is automatically destroyed lowering the total token supply over time and reinforcing a deflationary dynamic intended to reward long-term holders. This burn is enforced on-chain using Solana Token Extensions, ensuring the “fire” is relentless and transparent.

Burncoin launched with a fixed supply of 21 million $BURN, mirroring Bitcoin’s total cap but flipping the narrative: whereas Bitcoin’s supply grows toward the cap over time, Burncoin’s supply shrinks away from it with every transaction. Its launch was conducted via a fair Dutch auction pre-sale, designed to eliminate insider advantages and give the community equal access to the token’s distribution. A portion of tokens was locked for liquidity and another portion briefly allocated to the founder before vesting.

The project was created by Burning Kitty, a seasoned crypto developer and founder of the Solana meme token Catwifhat ($CWIF). Burning Kitty has championed deflationary tokenomics across projects and brought that philosophy into Burncoin’s design aiming for decentralization, fairness, and ongoing scarcity.

Built on Solana’s fast and low-cost network, Burncoin blends memecoin culture with a serious scarcity narrative, appealing to traders and holders curious about automated deflation and community-centric crypto economics.
